Caregivers Support Group

C4TH Caregiver Support Circle

Caring for a loved one with a serious or terminal illness can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly challenging. At Center for the Heart, we recognize the emotional, physical, and mental toll that caregiving takes. That’s why we’re launching the C4TH Caregiver Support Circle, a bi-weekly support group designed to provide a safe and compassionate space where primary caregivers can connect, share experiences, and find support from others who understand.

Meeting Details:

  • When: 12 – 1 PM ET , on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month

  • Where: Online (link provided upon registration)

  • Cost: Free (donations accepted!)

Whether you're caring for someone with a chronic illness, a progressive condition, or at the end of life, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Join us!

About the Facilitator:

Frances Crawford, LMSW, facilitates the Compassionate Circle Caregiver Support Group at the Center for the Heart. With more than 20 years of experience in social work, she supports informal caregivers supporting loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia.

Frances understands that caregiving can bring exhaustion, anticipatory grief, complex emotions, and isolation — regardless of one’s circumstances. While each family’s resources and support systems may differ, the emotional weight of caregiving is deeply human and universal. She is committed to health equity and works to ensure that every caregiver — across backgrounds, communities, and lived experiences — feels seen, respected, and supported.

In the Compassionate Circle Caregiver Support Group, Frances creates a safe, structured, and welcoming space where caregivers can speak honestly, share experiences, and build resilience alongside others who truly understand the journey. She looks forward to walking alongside you in this season of caregiving.
